October has started, and you know what that means: it’s October debuts time. How much do you want to bet that many of you know the majority of the groups on this list? The many groups on this list have blossomed into the well-known groups that we stream to this day. It’s always great to look back and watch the growth of these artists, and today, we are going to take it back and talk about their beginnings.

TWICE - “Like OOH-AHH”

“Like OOH-AHH, OOH-AHH” This song is so much fun! On October 20, 2015, JYP Entertainment’s hit girl group TWICE debuted their iconic track “Like OOH-AHH” to the world and we all love it. The members Nayeon, Jihyo, Momo, Sana, Mina, Jeongyeon, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu gave us a 10/10 debut that we all will remember and dance to forever.

SF9 - “Fanfare”

On October 5, 2016, SF9 came onto the scene and wowed us with their debut “Fanfare.” The members Inseong, Chani, Youngbin, Taeyang, Zuho, Jaeyoon, Dawon, Hwiyoung, and previously Rowoon put their all into this debut. The track is hype, super upbeat, and shows us what SF9 is made of. Since their debut, they have been releasing absolute bangers ever since, and we all get excited when they have a comeback.

PENTAGON - “Gorilla”

These vocal legends came into the scene with this funky track we love to dance to. PENTAGON made their debut on October 10, 2016, with their hit song “Gorilla.” We all know how extremely talented PENTAGON is, but hearing this gold for the first time is something I want to relive. The members Hui, Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yanan, Yeo One, Yuto, Kino, Wooseok, and previously E’Dawn (now Dawn) came on this track and devoured. It’s a top-tier debut that will lift your spirits.

ATEEZ - “Pirate King”

The moment I saw that “Pick It Up” dance video, I just knew ATEEZ was going to be big. They then proved it to us on October 24, 2018, with their debut track, “Pirate King.” KQ Entertainment’s boy group ATEEZ stepped onto the scene with a hard-hitting title track that incorporates an intense storyline. These eight pirates, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho have made their mark on K-Pop and will continue as they blossom.

IZ*ONE - “La Vie en Rose”

These girls were serving in every single category when it came to delivering top-tier tracks. IZ*ONE, a Produce 48 girl group, debuted on October 29, 2018, with their song “La Vie en Rose.” The members Sakura, Yuri, Yena, Yujin, Nako, Eunbi, Hyewon, Hitomi, Chaewon, Minju, Chaeyeon, and Wonyoung made IZ*ONE an iconic group. This debut was a sight to see. The video is beautiful, and the song is so addictive. Even though the girls have all gone their separate ways since disbandment, this group will always remain in our hearts because of their amazing music.
