BRINGING INTERNATIONAL FANS CLOSER TO THE ACTION.

ABOUT US

WHAT IS THE KRAZE?

The Kraze is an independently owned and operated K-Pop news source aiming to help bring international fans closer to the action. Since our inception in 2016 during the third generation of K-Pop, we’ve spent many years dedicated to providing an in-depth connection to the K-Pop scene for international English-speaking fans. We’ve been at the forefront of the worldwide expansion of K-Pop, and it has given us lots of perspective on the growth and changes in the industry. We believe in the importance of an open and welcoming community amongst K-Pop and strive to provide a comfortable outlet for K-Pop artists to connect with their global audience. We also believe in the importance of independently run outlets in the media space, along with journalists deeply passionate about the Hallyu Wave.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE?

Yes, The Kraze is a media outlet, but we are a different kind of media outlet. We encourage our team members to voice their personal and honest, but objective, views for all of K-Pop through writing and content creation. We take the time to conduct proper research and consideration of different opinions from fans, and aim to provide the importance of the fan perspective in the media. We aim to create a welcoming and positive space in the K-Pop community by getting more fans to become excited and comfortable to engage with the latest content. All content is written by the fans, for the fans.

THE OPPORTUNITIES WE PROVIDE.

Since the K-Pop community is mainly comprised of high school and college-aged students, The Kraze's volunteer-based staff provides various opportunities for experience in publication, design, and marketing. Staff positions are given the flexibility to work for us while still in school and/or working part or full-time jobs. Working at The Kraze will help candidates grow valuable skills in the industry, all while getting the opportunity to connect with many of the major media companies working in the K-Pop space. In addition, candidates will learn transferable skills, such as working in a virtual team environment, self-management, and clear communication skills. We have had many former team members go on to become professionals in the journalism space for major media outlets. The experience that any candidate takes from working at The Kraze will help further career goals in any chosen field.
