It’s that time of year again: Christmas! We’re rounding out 2018, so that means tons of Christmas parties and gatherings that you might have to attend. When parties come, you have to look presentable and dress up for family and friends. But don’t fret—we’ve got a cute makeup look that you can rock during the Christmas season.

Face

For the face, go for something light because all the focus will primarily be on the eyes and lips. Use a light foundation or simply a touch of concealer to cover blemishes and all unwanted pigmentation. We recommend Moonshot’s Micro Setting Fit Cushion for foundation. As for concealer, we like The Saem’s Cover Perfection Tip Concealer. For blush, go with something with a light red pigmentation to draw on the Christmas colors, but make sure not to go too heavy! Finally, a light contour is perfect for those who want to give some shape to their V-line and cheekbones.

Eyes

For the best part of the whole look, we think eyeshadow should bring out the Christmas spirit with a combination of red, green, and gold. The perfect eyeshadow palette for this is Pony Effect’s Master Eye Palette, which consists of both beautiful shimmers and stunning matte colors to add definition to the eyes. Using a light red shade, apply the eyeshadow across the eyelid. Next, apply a matte green to the outer corners of the eyes to bring further definition to the eye shape. Now for our favorite part, apply a gold shimmer onto the eyelids just below the crease of the eyes. Lastly, use a blending eye brush to apply a light brown shade in order to blend all the colors together for the perfect holiday makeup look.

Lips

In terms of lips, just about any color will fit the look. Since our main focus is on the eye makeup, using a light lip color would be best so as to not take away from the main attraction. We recommend using a light red or coral color, though using a MLBB (My Lips But Better) color would also be great if you want something more natural. Lip tints are also a formidable option for holiday makeup looks; we want to keep the makeup going strong throughout the night! Not to mention lip tints are incredibly long-lasting, especially when dealing with food and drinks.
