10 months after their debut, ONF made their first comeback with their 2nd mini-album called You Complete Me. After the debut of the MIXNINE project was cancelled, it was announced that ONF would be making their comeback in June. On June 7, the music video for “Complete” was released and the next day, the complete 2nd mini-album was available for fans to listen to.

The music video starts with one of the members, Hyojin, standing on top of an old American car as the music starts playing. We are then introduced to the rest of the members before the dance scene kicks off and MK starts singing. With many visual aesthetics, the music video is fun to watch. The colors that stand out the most are blue and yellow, which are the colors that belong to the concept of the album.

The music gives you a happy and light vibe right away and the instrumental surprises with changes throughout the song, making it interesting as it builds up towards the chorus. There are so many elements in the instrumental itself which add so much depth to the song. One element is the saxophone that plays after the chorus for the dance break in the video. Although the instrumentals keep changing throughout the song, there is a certain consistency in the melody that helps maintain the noise-level and to keep it from sounding, all over the place. The changes that happen makes the song more entertaining. It is fast-paced and upbeat.

The surprises in the instrumentals don’t stop with “Complete;” the second track on the album, “Fly Me To The Moon,” starts off slow and light, but the beat changes up as soon as the singing starts and turns into something more groovy during the chorus. The saxophone makes another appearance near the end of the song. The third track “Good Morning” is a sweet ballad introduced with the sounds of birds and soft piano before the bass and acoustic guitar start playing. “Fifty Fifty” is similar to “Fly Me To The Moon” but the beat is a bit slower. “Incomplete” is another song with chill vibes like “Fifty Fifty”. The album finishes with the piano-based ballad “86400” and finishes the album off nicely with ONF’s amazing vocals. It is all put so nicely together, giving the album an entirety.

The whole album is filled with little surprises here and there but keeps a consistent sound. It starts off strong and finishes calm and nicely, and it certainly lives up to its name since it all feels complete once you have listened to all the songs.
