Block B’s Park Kyung Returns with New Single, “Instant.”

It has been a year since we have seen Park Kyung release his own solo music. While it is only a single, Block B’s resident rapper (aside from ZICO and P.O) brings us another funky and upbeat track, “Instant,” featuring SUMIN.

“Instant” is a feel-good, jazz-influenced track that is definitely a refreshing song for the summer. While most K-Pop fans are used to having a fast-paced, dance and bass-heavy song, Park Kyung’s latest track brings a different twist to the definition of summer songs. Fans are often used to Park Kyung having a sharp, hard-hitting rap whenever he promotes with Block B; however, fans also know him to be rather playful when it comes to his rapping abilities. When it comes to his solo work, they often take a bright, happy vibe that will definitely bring a smile on your face.

The music video for “Instant” features Park Kyung alone as he travels through several sets that are set up as optical illusions. The music video will make you do a double-take when you first watch it as you wonder how the walls or floors are moving. As previously mentioned, “Instant” is laced with jazz throughout the song, where Park Kyung also showcases his vocal and scatting abilities. The addition of SUMIN on the track is a great complement to Park Kyung and makes it an instant, repeat-worthy song to listen to. It’s fun and catchy, and fans will not be disappointed. Hopefully, we shall see another release from Park Kyung and more from Block B in the future!
