Eric Nam Kicks off Honestly Tour in Los Angeles

Eric Nam has finally kicked off his Honestly tour in North America and The Kraze was able to make it out to his very first show in Los Angeles. This is Eric Nam’s first ever North American tour, where the artist is visiting fourteen cities within North America and an additional stop in Mexico City!

As Los Angeles is the first stop of the tour, Eric Nam was greeted to a sold out show at The Fonda Theatre, but that isn’t all! Eric Nam is also accompanied on tour with Loote opening up for him. For those who are new to Loote, this band is a duo based out of the United States and are under Island Records and Universal Music Group. The band will be on tour with Eric Nam throughout the United States and their stop in Mexico.

As the concert opened up with Loote playing, fans were already jumping up and getting hyped. Fans had the opportunity to purchase official tour merchandise from Loote and Eric Nam throughout the night and were found all along the main floor and up in the balcony. It was definitely a full house as many people were pushed up against each other as they patiently waited for Eric Nam to finally step on stage.

After a half an hour set from Loote, it was finally time for Eric to take the stage. He kicked off the concert by opening up with “Potion” and instantly fans were screaming with joy and excitement. The singer definitely put on the moves as he danced across the stage with his team members. He was surely not ready for all the fans to come out in full force in support of his concert. Despite the large stage, Eric Nam commanded every inch as he danced and interacted with fans, Performing songs like “Don’t Call Me” and “Interview“ to keep the crowd going.

To those in attendance, Eric Nam also had a surprise up his sleeve. He treated fans to a brand new track that will soon be part of an upcoming feature film for the third installment of Hotel Transylvania, titled “Float.” This is the first time that Eric had announced and performed the song. For those who were unable to make it to one of his tour stops, you’re in for a funky and super catchy song that will get you up and dancing around!

In between sets, Eric also took the time to engage with fans, often giving some fanservice such as giving away his water bottles that he drank out of. As he was talking with the audience, he never skipped a beat when it came to his humor and cuteness. He was simply in awe to see that his show in LA sold out. This was Eric’s first time performing his own solo event in Los Angeles, as well.

The rest of the night was followed by more performances of all the songs off his latest album, Honestly, as well as a few hit songs such as his debut song “Heaven’s Door,” “Cave Me In,” and also brought out special guest KOLAJ to perform their song, “Into You.” It was hard to believe that a whole hour and a half had passed as the concert went by so quickly. But the concert did not end without a proper encore, to which he had performed “Honestly” and “Can’t Help Myself.”  After the end of the concert, quite a number of fans were able to have the chance to meet and take a picture with Eric Nam, and fans who did not purchase his meet and greet ticket were still able to grab the tour merchandise before it was completely sold out.

Throughout the night, the audience had a blast dancing and singing along with Eric. Los Angeles definitely kicked his tour off with a bang and for those who are going to be attending the future stops, you’re in for one fun ride with Eric Nam and Loote!
