Crush X ZICO are finally back! The album, Wonderlost, is a continuation of the album from October 2016, Wonderlust. The album features some members from Fanxy Child which is such a throwback. Fanxy Child is known for their popularity in the hip-hop industry due to their diversity, and to see them come together brings back so many memories.

The title song, “Cereal,” is a love song about seeing the person you love first thing in the morning. ZICO’s rap verses add such a nice groove and charisma to the song that it wouldn’t be the same without him. The color theme of the song is blue, as are Crush’s hair and outfit in the music video. The video is so simple and yet so sophisticated, due to the two dancing invisible bodies, which are only indicated by their blue clothes. The white background with glass doors really brings out the colors of the dancing clothes and Crush all together.

The next song on the album, “Chill,” featuring Sik-K, is about relaxing together while doing what you love such as producing music (for Crush and Sik-K). The song is the perfect R&B track with a relaxing vibe to the beat. The next track is “Endorphin” which features PENOMECO and Punchnello and is about riding high adrenaline and relaxing from the production of endorphins.

“뭐가 보여 (Close Your Eyes)” features Hoody whose voice is so beautiful and soft and serves as a perfect touch for R&B songs. This song is one of my personal favorites on the album as it is a sad love song about not being able to catch up to the person you love. “RYO” is the only hip-hop track that has a deep meaning of explaining the struggles endured to become popular, featuring CIFIKA and Brung Un of Balming Tiger. The song expresses the singer’s emotions and hardships through the lyrics that describe the journey and risks of becoming K-Pop idols.

Crush is undeniably one of the best R&B/hip-hop idols in the K-Pop industry. He is able to produce and release amazing songs that are loved by fans around the world.
