Oh My Girl is finally back as a full group after nine months! Their new mini-album Remember Me is all about reminiscing about different memories and the feelings associated with those memories. Each member is able to show off different talents and charms throughout the album with the variety of tracks.

The title song, also by the name “Remember Me,” is about the different emotions that are related to the memories just like the album as a whole. The chorus of the song has an angelic feel with all the members showing off their vocal beauty and unique charms. The verses of the song have a hip-hop feel which is a different side of the group to surprise fans, leaving listeners to wonder if each member has more talents hidden up her sleeve.

“메아리 (Echo)” is a pop song which is the perfect love song to listen to when thinking about a loved one. “Twilight,” a personal favorite on the album, is a soft song with distinct electronic beats in the background. The song is about someone who has finally opened the doors to your heart in a way that has never happened before. Mimi’s rap in the second verse fits the song perfectly and adds diversity to the track itself.

“Illusion” is the track that fits the group’s concept perfectly with their cute, sweet image. Each member’s angelic and soft singing voice gets fans to fall in love with this song just as they fall in love with the group. “우리 이야기 (Our Story)” is a ballad track that is a sweet love song expressing the emotions to the one person you love and how you have changed for the better because of them.

Oh My Girl’s new album has songs that are relatable for everyone. As its title suggests, Remember Me has listeners reflecting on their fondest memories.
