Finding Happiness With N.Flying
Here to add a little rock to the season, N.Flying is back with a new single “It’s fine” just in time for the holidays. Released on December 20, the band partnered with Life Insurance Social Philanthropy Foundation to release “I’m fine” as part of the foundation’s teen suicide prevention campaign.
“It’s fine” is equal parts beautiful and heartfelt, with emotionally raw lyrics penned by Seunghyub. The track opens with piano chords that quickly break into a full band accompaniment. Truth be told, the song itself is rather basic, though still poignant with much of the focus on the lyrics. The repetition of “I wish I find a better life” followed by “Will be alright” is particularly heart-wrenching and uplifting.
The special music video for the song is even more moving as it follows the story of a school girl suffering from bullying. In the video, the girl is comforted by the N.Flying members who reassure her that she is not alone. Though simple, the message of “It’s fine” is touching, especially for anyone else who has found solace in their favorite idols or musicians.
