B-Side Music Videos

While we are often familiar with the title tracks that our favorite groups release, along with high production music videos, fans are likely also familiar with their favorite groups releasing music videos for their B-sides as a special treat. B-side music videos have a special place in our hearts, and though they may not be major productions like their title track counterparts, they’re perfect in their own way.

“Question” - Stray Kids

The personality of Stray Kids definitely can’t be contained in the “Question” music video, an endearing production shot at a park in Seoul that gives all nine of these energetic boys a chance to unleash their true selves on camera. With no concept but to be purely entertaining and fun, it’s impossible not to fall in love with these quirky boys and their overflowing boyish charms.

“Spine Breaker” - BTS

From a V LIVE mission where the group was challenged with shooting and directing their own production, BTS lets loose with their unconventional charm in their self-shot “Spine Breaker” music video. One of the charms of the group that’s skyrocketed them into stardom has always been their overflowing personality, and that is very apparent in this hilarious and completely scattered videography.

“That’s Right” - Block B BASTARZ

Block B BASTARZ brought us the cheerful “That’s Right” with an equally energetic music video that shows a day in the life of the trio on a trip. Beginning in their hotel room with shots of U-Kwon and B-Bomb fast asleep, the story continues as the group gets ready to head off to the airport, each shot a split second of one of the members doing something cute or endearing. The video has such a happy vibe as you travel through an adventure with the trio. It’s impossible not to feel your spirits lift after watching it.

“Hide and Seek” - SF9

SF9 is a group that is notorious for the number of special videos that they put out for their B-sides, so much so that it’s difficult to pick just one to add to this list. “Hide and Seek” features the members playing in a pool, backstage, and in their hotel rooms. There is nothing quite as pure as boys playing in the pool, and you’re sure to find your heart full of happiness at the bright smiles and playful actions of the members in this video.

“Amen” - MONSTA X

Are you in desperate need of a little heart racing? Look no further than MONSTA X’s “Amen,” a special video clip that features a block for each member in the video with their own different cute concepts. You’ll find it impossible to not watch this video seven times in a row to focus on each member at least once.
