WayV Wants to Love in Their Music Video

NCTzens received a heartwarming self-made music video from their beloved Chinese septet, which may be a present for NCT Day to show fans more love.

The Mandarin pop group WayV, labelled under LableV is among the sub-units of NCT. The youngest unit made their debut on January 19, releasing their first digital album along with the Chinese version of the Korean single "Regular." The act later released their first hard copy album Take Off in the month of May, accompanied by the highly addictive title track of the same name, making the septet a prized possession among the listeners. The well-received album also boosted up the act's career by breaking various records and placing them on Billboard's World Chart.

On June 13, WayV decided to become Romeos of love and hearts by releasing a self-made video for one of the tracks from their album, "Let Me Love U."

The Single

The sixth track on the album is a delight as it mellows a sweet manner of love and romance. With guitar strumming in the background, Ten begins the melody followed by the pleasing verses from the other members. The piece sounds incredibly warm as the members croon together perfectly with their honeyed vocals. Contradictory to their fast paced single, "Let Me Love U" is a soft and comfy track with mild chorus, "Love you, love you, I'm fallin in love. I'm in love, I'm in love," which makes us coo at the cuteness of the act, repeating "You, you, you" in the end. The song can also be complimented for being more sweet and warm as it soothes and comforts every listener with its warm and flattering lyrics.

Music Video

Adding to the sweet sounding track, the self-made video is set soft and adorable with aesthetically pleasing visuals and colors. The video was shot in a luxury hotel room where the members play and goof around with each other. The shots capture the fun and admirable moments of the group as they enjoy themselves dancing with confetti hearts, playing in the pool, and much more. With laughter and smiles, the act also ensures they show their casual side as a family, spending joyful time with cakes, cream, and champagnes. That's not just it, the members also show off their flawless visuals with close-ups; fans get treated much better with the highlights of Ten and Lucas along with others, showing off their duality in wet hair wrapped in towels and soaked t-shirts.

On the whole, the self-made video was indeed a delightful experience to watch, especially WayV's cute gestures and expressions. The video also paved the way for the pleasant sounding track to be noticed by a wider crowd, emitting the essence of the septet.

Are you excited to see more of WayV after watching this adorable video?
