MCND is the Embodiment of “Spring”

It’s only been a month since rookie group MCND made their debut, but they’ve already returned with their first comeback single “Spring!” Top Media’s latest group has made a splash on the K-Pop scene with their debut title “ICE AGE,” which has currently amassed 15 million views on YouTube.

Where “ICE AGE” had a more intimidating, hip-hop feel to it, “Spring” shows the cuter side of the group with an equally catchy groove. The catchy rhythm has some hip-hop undertones, but the melody is light and fits with the brighter concept. If you’re looking for comparisons, think something along the lines of ZICO’s “Any song” as an example. The upbeat track is accompanied by a cute, schoolboy concept that brings a flavor of happiness in these difficult times. The sunny atmosphere of the video is accented by neon colors, strong lighting, and playful choreography. The video has only been up for a day and has already garnered 1.6 million views, proving that this rookie group is continuing to shoot for the stars.
