Girl Group Favorite Summer Music Video Looks
As we head to the end of summer, let’s take a look at some favorite music videos that came out that truly give off that summertime look.
TWICE “More and More”
TWICE’s music video for “More and More” brought you into a dreamlike fantasy world with a psychedelic twist. Their styles in the video are full of boho chic looks. The first style seen in the video are pastel dresses full of ruffles, adding a very romantic summer feel. The other style for this video is quite different as it is very hippie-inspired with members seen wearing patterned tops and dresses that are paired with a knee-high boot.
APRIL “Now or Never”
APRIL truly embodies summertime with the perfect seaside looks in their music video for “Now or Never.” The video begins with the members wearing a variety of sailor-themed outfits that consist of the colors navy blue, white, and a bright red. The second style that we see is a more delicate style of white dress with gladiator sandals while Chaewon sports an all-white pants style for this second look. APRIL also shows off lots of bright pops of neon colors in their outfits, bringing out the perfect seashore vibe.
ITZY “Not Shy”
ITZY take on a Western-inspired theme throughout their video for “Not Shy.” Not only does it show off a desert backdrop, but the members wear cowboy-inspired pieces throughout the video that include cowboy boots and even a cowboy hat with crystals dripping off of it. The most unique style seen in the video are the bold accessories that all of the members are seen wearing. These chunky necklaces, bracelets, and rings bring a fun take on the desert theme.

(G)I-DLE’s “Dumdi Dumdi” takes a dive into the West as well as it takes place at a motel in the middle of the desert. They are not afraid to play with a variety of styles and colors for their looks. The styles progress into even more fun summer looks as they wear bright patterns ranging from camo to tie dye, showing the happy tropical looks that are perfect for expressing summertime fun.
BLACKPINK “Ice Cream”
BLACKPINK’s release for “Ice Cream” shows a bright, pastel side of their style. The video has a range of girly styles that are different than the usual fierceness that BLACKPINK is typically known for; however, they do incorporate some streetwear-inspired looks. They also show off sporty and colorful outfits that are matched perfectly with chunky hair clips and hair bands. Unique makeup looks are also used throughout the video as Jennie is seen with yellow stars above her eyes and Rosé uses temporary butterfly tattoos by the sides of her eyes.
