SuperM Unleashes the “Tiger Inside” in New Single

SuperM is back at it again with another pre-release single! From “100” to unleashing the “Tiger Inside,” SuperM is leaving their mark once again this summer with another catchy and intense track. For those who weren’t quite as hyped with “100,” this latest release is sure to get fans going and raise the level of anticipation for their full album set to release at the end of the month. But for those who were able to tune into SuperM’s Beyond Live online concert, “Tiger Inside” was teased and performed long before the official release of the single.

“A Tiger Inside You”

Once again, SuperM is unapologetically confident and oozes with swagger that can’t be beat when it comes to their releases. “Tiger Inside” is all about breaking free and releasing the inner tiger that we all have within ourselves. The SuperM members want not only themselves, but listeners to set themselves free and not stay tied up in one place. After all, when a beast is kept in captivity for too long, it’ll only bite back harder. The song itself is a blend of pop, trap, and EDM with an addictive beat and is guaranteed to be one of the bangers off the full album, which is still yet to come.

The music video is heavy on the visuals, with SuperM pulling out all the stops from the set designs down to the wardrobe selected. As tigers are known to be majestic and mighty beasts, often a symbol of royalty and high-class, SuperM does not fail to deliver such a grand music video. While not as focused on visual effects compared to the previous releases, what takes center stage for the music video is the choreography for “Tiger Inside.” Some key points in the choreography are big movements that are very animalistic in look and feel as well as the members making themselves look bigger than they already are. The music video is one that fans have to watch multiple times to catch the little details. The only time there is a depiction of a tiger is in the beginning, when it transitions from Ten’s eyes to a tiger’s eyes. There is a lot of symbolism placed throughout the music video, from props with tiger print to the previously mentioned choreography of movements that reflect the members as the big cat.

SuperM does not fail to deliver a visually stunning and equally catchy song that further builds the hype for the album. Now the biggest question left is, what does SuperM have in store for their full album? Only time will tell at the end of the month!
