TRI.BE Shows Their Girl Swag with Summer Colors in Their Very First Comeback

Just three months after their powerful debut, TRI.BE is back with their second single album CONMIGO. The rookie group produced by Shinsadong Tiger and Universal Music Group once again worked closely with EXID’s LE (under the name ELLY) on some Latin-infused girl swag songs. The Spanish album title, translating to “with me” in English, is kind of an invitation or hope that more people would join TRI.BE and their fandom, TRUE, in having fun together.

The girl group’s unique sound in K-Pop—that Latin-inspired fierce and confident girl swag—takes over in both brand new tracks on the album. The title song “RUB-A-DUM” is a dynamic summer dance song with energetic instrumentals. The song feels very refreshing and youthful, and the music video is vibrant, bringing you real summer bop visuals. But there is a twist; the holiday moments of having fun and freely dancing around are disturbed by an unexpected spaceship and clones of the members. This odd turn results in a spirited dance-off and a mysterious ending.

Just like on their debut single album, the title song is followed by one more track. Talking about sweet life, “LORO” has a bit more of a chill melody, but the instrumentals, vocals, and lyrics still exude confidence.

This comeback matches TRI.BE’s debut very well, showing that this unique trip-hop, girl swag style most likely will be Songsun, Kelly, Jinha, Hyunbin, Jia, Soeun, and Mire’s well-promised distinguishable sound. And we can’t wait to see what color we get to hear and see next.
