VIXX B-Sides

Known as the Kings of Concepts, VIXX even infuses their B-sides with their concepts in terms of sound, style, lyrics, and delivery. Let’s take a look at some of the group’s standout B-side tracks over the years.

“Spider”

Fitting into VIXX’s eerie dance-pop style, “Spider” is a signature VIXX song. Starting off with auto-tuned vocals, the track progresses to become an EDM banger with an extended bridge that amplifies the song’s impact and meaning.

“Love Me Do”

Being a fast paced track, “Love Me Do” puts its listeners into a trance. Paired with the high-pitched “Doooo” that loops throughout the track, the song also features actual instruments alongside EDM beats. We also can’t forget this water choreography for the live stage of the song.

“The Romance Is Over”

Showcasing VIXX’s beautiful vocals, “The Romance Is Over” is a heartbreaking R&B-pop ballad. To match the lyrics of the song, the instruments in the track come to an abrupt stop at the end of the song. The pain and anguish can also be heard in a very fitting rap verse by Ravi.

“Hot Enough”

“Hot Enough” is definitely hot enough, and is one of VIXX’s most experimental tracks, featuring a smooth jazz melody with neo soul influences. With this song and its live stages, the boys were properly able to show their sexy side during the Chained Up era.

“Beautiful Killer”

With an explosive chorus, “Beautiful Killer” is an impactful track on VIXX’s first studio album, VOODOO. The glitchy and smooth vocals on the track create an intense contrast just like the instruments in the melody.
