Rap Duos
Bringing two artists together for a collaboration brings out some awesome songs. Let’s take a look at a few rap duos that have created iconic moments in K-Rap.
San E & Mad Clown - “Sour Grapes”
San E and Mad Clown are a duo that you don’t think you need until you see them performing together. Their song “Sour Grapes” is an upbeat song. The flow and diction of the rappers play off of each other well throughout the track, creating a playful atmosphere. The music video is also quite aesthetic, as it is equally as bright and full of neon colors. “Sour Grapes” is such a fun song that is guaranteed to stick in your head.
MOBB - “FULL HOUSE”
MOBB completely brought the swagger as an official YG Entertainment sub-unit consisting of MINO from WINNER and Bobby from iKON. “FULL HOUSE'' brings the aggression with the heavy bass and loud synths, adding a very intense feel to the song that matches the cool personality of the duo. The song has quite smooth transitions between their rap verses, giving a chance for both members to show off their unique rap styles while coming together to create a sleek and confident track. The music video reflects their styles and is equally as cool as the song and the duo.
BIGBANG - “ZUTTER”
There is no rap duo more iconic than G-DRAGON and T.O.P. “ZUTTER” keeps a chill beat throughout the song, allowing us to really appreciate their separate verses before seamlessly coming together for the chorus. The track embodies how effortlessly chic they are without having to try, and the music video has the duo playing roles as gang members with quite an eccentric twist to it.
Having amazing artists come together can really create something unforgettable and really shows us that sometimes two is better than one.
