September Dramas to Watch
September and fall, in some areas, are officially here! To celebrate, many new dramas are starting to air, from crime to romance comedies to even daily dramas with more than 50 episodes. So, grab a pumpkin spiced latte or an apple cinnamon muffin and cozy up to these K-Dramas starting in September.
Lost
40-year-old Lee Boojung (Jeon Doyeon) feels like she hasn’t achieved anything in her life. While thinking about her life, she meets 27-year-old Lee Kangjae (Ryu Joonyeol). He runs a role service business who becomes afraid of himself out of fear that he won’t become anything.
Lost will be available to watch on iQIYI
High Class
Song Yeowool (Cho Yeojung) loses everything when she’s framed for her husband’s murder. Her son attends an international school where all the other mothers have heard of her plight. The only one friendly to her is Hwang Nayoon (Park Sejin), a single mother who isn’t exactly the most famous person in the school. However, Yeowool isn’t the only one with a past. Teacher Danny Oh (Ha Joon) also has a history that he wants to keep secret. The problem is the women at the school are keeping tabs on him because he is very handsome. Will Danny and Yeowool be able to keep their past in the past?

Squid Game
What would you do for 40 million dollars? If your answer was practically anything, that is precisely what Kihun (Lee Jungjae) thinks. He recently got fired from work and needs money. So, he and his friend Sangwoo (Park Haesoo) join Squid Game, a game they’ve played as children but with deadly twists. There can only be one winner, but Kihun is sure he can win, or he’ll die trying.
Season 1 of Squid Game starts on September 17 and will be available on Netflix.
The Veil
Han Jihyuk (Namgoong Min) is one of the best agents in the National Intelligence Service. After disappearing years ago, he’s returned to take down a crime syndicate. But unfortunately, there is a traitor in the NIS, and Jihyuk must find out who it is before it’s too late. The only help he can count on is from Seo Sooyeon (Park Hasun), the head of the Criminal Information Integration Center, and Yoo Jeyi (Kim Jieun), Jihyuk’s partner.
Yumi’s Cells
Have you ever given the cells inside your body much thought? Kim Yumi (Kim Goeun) probably doesn’t. She’s in the middle of recovering from a painful breakup and spends her day focusing on work, with no thoughts on getting back on the romantic horse. Enter Goo Woong (Ahn Bohyun), a game developer who has a problem expressing his emotions. When he meets Yumi, he realizes he wants to try.
While all this is happening, Yumi cells are trying to help her love cells. But unfortunately, they’ve fallen into a deep coma after her breakup, and her other cells are doing what they can to wake them up. With Yumi and Woong’s cells working overtime to help, will the emotionally unlucky two be able to get a chance at true love?

One The Woman
Cho Yeonjoo (Lee Hanee) is a prosecutor that cares more about money and power than doing the right thing. After getting into a terrible accident, she wakes up and discovers she’s now Kang Mina, a chaebol’s daughter and the daughter-in-law of the Hanju group. While Yeonjoo tries to get back to her rightful place, she meets Han Seungwook (Lee Sangyoon). He lost his first love long ago and sees a second chance at love with Yeonjoo. Or does Seungwook think she’s really Mina?
There’s no word yet on where you can watch One The Woman yet, but it starts on September 17.
Dali and the Cocky Prince
Jin Moohak (Kim Minjae) tries to steal from an art museum that Kim Dalri (Park Gyuyoung) works in. But, instead of stealing art, Moohak gets his heart stolen by Dalri., the director of Chungsong Art Museum. Dalri and Moohak are like night and day. She’s elegant, considerate, and proficient in seven languages. But, on the other hand, Moohak is far from intelligent, even though he is his family’s food corporation director. Will their differences stop their love or enhance it?
Dali and the Cocky Prince is available on Viki, but not available in the U.S. regions. Here’s to hoping that things change soon.
