The Color Red
It’s the month of love, and nothing says Valentine’s like the color red. For this week’s Throwback Thursday, we will be taking a look at songs that include this passionate color.
“Red Light” - f(x)
f(x)’s electronic sound in “Red Light” makes it an addictive track with a seductive and dangerous style. The music video is quite dark, with grunge looks and the awesome use of the group's silhouettes during the choreography with red lights shining down on the members.
“Red” - HyunA
Nothing screams sexiness like HyunA’s song “Red.” The song pulls you in with HyunA’s quick raps and EDM elements. HyunA’s look in the video gives a strong contrast from her black hair to the strikingly bright red lipstick, nails, and often red outfits. The music video is full of innuendos and the choreography is high energy, showcasing HyunA and her charisma.
“Red Moon” - Kim Wooseok
“Red Moon” is the solo debut song of UP10TION member Kim Wooseok. It is a sensual-styled song that builds into a powerful piece with the use of the electric guitar paired with a heavy bass. The music video uses a variety of backdrops for his captivating choreography.
“Red Flavor” - Red Velvet
Red Velvet brings a pop of tropical fun with “Red Flavor.” It immediately begins with the chorus, packing a bright punch, and uses a unique, deep voice in the background throughout the song that repeats variations of “Red Flavor.” The music video is quirky and goes hard with the fruit theme. From the vibrant colors with various backgrounds to infomercials including fruits, this video gives as much joy as the song.
