March K-Dramas to Check Out

Since so many K-Dramas have been released this year, it may be overwhelming deciding which one to watch next. Not to worry: The Kraze is here to guide you. Here are six dramas starting in March to check out.

Crazy Love

Crazy Love follows No Gojin (Kim Jaewook), a popular math instructor and SEO of GOTOP Education. He’s handsome, wealthy, and selfish. Everything is going well for Gojin until he gets a note saying that he will be murdered soon. His secretary, Lee Shinah (Krystal), also receives a message that she will die. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have anyone to confide in. Shinah is introverted, and though she works hard as Gojin’s secretary, he doesn’t know anything about her. All that begins to change when they realize they both don’t have long to live. 

This romantic comedy is currently airing and is available on Disney+.

 

Kill Heel

Who knew that home shopping networks could be so intense! Woo Hyun (Kim Haneul) is an average host on UNI Home Shopping. She wants to become the top host but feels like the harder she tries, the worse it gets. Vice President Go Miran (Kim Hyeyoung) started as a host like Woo Hyun, but she rose to the boardroom due to her tenacity. Miran is so close to the top spot in the company she can taste it, but other employees are working to take her place. Bae Oksun (Kim Sungryung) is the leading host at the company, and her eyes are on the same position that Miran wants. Which woman will be able to claim the highest place at UNI Home Shopping, and which one will fall by the wayside?

A Superior Day

What would you do if you found out your neighbor is a serial killer? That is the exact question Lee Hochul (Jin Goo) must answer. He’s a firefighter that loves his job and his daughter. One day, he learns she’s been kidnapped. While searching for her, a stranger tells him his neighbor is a serial killer. The stranger is a contract killer sent to kill the person who’s been murdering people in the area. Hochul has one day to find his daughter and figure out who the real culprit is before time runs out.

Blue of Winter


Blue of Winter follows Lee Hyunwoo (Jeon Yubin), a man obsessed with fighting. He meets Han Jisuk (Jeon Yubin) and Kim Dojin (Lee Jungmin) at a judo competition in high school. Hyunwoo ends up injured but is pleased he won the fight. Dojin and Hyunwoo end up at the same elite school, where Dojin quickly becomes the center of the school bully’s attention. The two become close after Hyunwoo saves Dojin from getting beat up. Dojin thinks he’s in love with Hyunwoo and confesses, but Hyunwoo turns him down. They all meet again six years later when Hyunwoo and Jisuk are in college, and Dojin is a gold medalist.

The King of Pigs

Being bullied can leave lasting effects on a person. Twenty years ago, Detective Hwang Kyungmin (Kim Dongwook) was bullied in school. He thought he put it behind him, but a new case he’s working on is causing all his repressed memories and emotions to return. Meanwhile, Detective Jung Jongseok (Kim Sunggyu) is trying to prevent more murders. During his search for the killer, Jongseok receives a message from an old friend, reminding him of the bullying that happened in the past.

The King of Pigs started airing on March 18. The animated film, which the drama is based on, is available on Apple TV.

 

Blueming

This webcomic-adapted drama follows Cha Siwon (Kang Eunbin), a college student who has lived a charmed life. Wherever he goes, he becomes one of the most famous people in the room. All of that changes when he meets Hyeong Daun (Jo Hyukjoon). Daun is the perfect student: he gets straight A’s, is handsome, and comes from a wealthy family. The two begin to clash as they vie for the top spot of the most popular boy in school. The more they spend time together, the more their feelings change from enemies to friends to something more.

Blueming begins airing at the end of the month, but you can read the webcomic now on Manta.
