baron. Releases New Single “Diamond Spoon”
Korean-Canadian singer baron. has released a new single! On March 25, the artist dropped “Diamond Spoon” on his YouTube channel accompanied by a visualizer for the track. In the year since his debut as an artist, baron. has released four single albums.
The new track “Diamond Spoon” is a chill hip-hop track where baron. employs a mix of rap and vocals and melds the two different styles together. The song has a repeated chorus that is rather catchy, and the musical break in the final third of the song adds a bit of a twist to the otherwise driving melody. The visualizer shows a rather unique collection of images that add a more artistic look to the song than may initially be thought. It personifies the darker tones of the lyrics, with the constant need to chase after monetary gain despite the lack of satisfaction in that pursuit.
