JUST B’s Journey Has JUST BEGUN

Rookie group JUST B are back with their new mini-album, JUST BEGUN. The six-member boy group from BLUEDOT Entertainment has returned with their second mini-album. It's a testament to just how much the rookies have grown in the year they have been together.

"RE=LOAD" is a song that represents a new beginning. It seems to be the theme of this album, as the six members of JUST B have come to show their range as artists. Although they are just coming to the end of their first year as a newly debuted group, they use their title track to show resilience. Bordering on noise music, the EDM-heavy track takes us on various twists and turns. We get this same impact when watching the music video, as JUST B shows that they are indeed performers.

Overall, JUST BEGUN is a heavy album in sound. It's rich with EDM beats and rock tones in tracks like "DASH!" and "Make It New." Both songs are headbangers and ones that you can't help but rock along to the beat. This rock influence is also heard in their slower tracks, such as "Don't Go Back." It reminds us of the rock bands of the early 2000s, namely Linkin Park. It's a sound that fits the group, and they prove they can pull off more mature concepts despite their age. The album also acts as a testament to how the group has already significantly improved with their vocals in a short time. The closing song, "Lights On," is a wonderful example of this and a balance to the heavy sounds in the beginning tracks.

JUST B have used their latest release to show their ever-growing talent. They continue to improve in all aspects of their performance, such as dance and vocals—JUST BEGUN proves just that. This is only the beginning for JUST B, and the world is wide open for the rookies to claim their power and be an unstoppable force.
