Hello, Sunshine!

It is time to say goodbye to cloudy days and hello to the warmth of sunshine! For this week’s Throwback Thursday, we will be taking a listen to some K-Artist’s that are sure to bring you the warmth of summer fun and comfort.

RAINBOW - “SUNSHINE”

For an adorable and fun pop song, “SUNSHINE” by RAINBOW is sure to deliver. The song is as bright and cheery as the title and has a nice symphonic pop sound to it, adding that warmth that you want to feel in a summertime song. The music video is very playful, seen especially in the bright outfits, with the members wearing many different styles, from a cute sailor girl to a sporty look and even a rock and roll style!

Hoody Feat. Crush - “Sunshine”

Hoody gives us that chill sound with her R&B song “Sunshine.” It is a sweet love song all about how the couple wants to be warm like sunshine for each other. Crush's voice pairs beautifully with the lightness of Hoody’s tone. The music video is equally as sweet as the song, as it follows two neighbors who get frustrated at how loud the other neighbor is only to start falling for each other in the perfect enemies to lovers trope.

ATEEZ - “Eternal Sunshine”

ATEEZ encourages us to keep believing in their blissful summer song, “Eternal Sunshine.” The tune is refreshing and youthful with its tropical pop sound. The hook is extremely addictive as well as the powerful ATEEZ chant that you can’t help but smile at how uplifting the tune sounds. The music video adds to that colorful summer feel as it uses many pops of bright colors, including Hongjoong's bright orange hair. The members’ charisma is just bursting from the music video and makes it so much fun to watch.

Stray Kids - “Sunshine”

“Sunshine” by Stray Kids is a song that envelops you in a warm hug with each listen. It is a chiller song compared to the usual EDM style we expect from Stray Kids, however the message is just as powerful. Stray Kid’s member Han wrote the song while visiting Los Angeles, basing it on the feeling of an “ideal break,” as it can be difficult to rest after always being busy. The song was created to give a relaxing break to the listener, even if it is only for a short period.

What K-Pop song do you love that gives you that warmth of the sunshine?
