This year's annual Paris Fashion Week took place this past weekend, with many gathering in France's capital with style and steeze.

LOEWE S/S23

LOEWE’s unique collection comprised of everything nature, with the brand describing their collection by stating:

“Birds flying, fish swimming, water dripping and humans

kissing on screens. The real and the digitally reproduced.

Nature and technology meet within a glaringly white, mind-expanding environment. A collection that juxtaposes to entice new perspectives.”

“Plants that have been grown on a series of garments and shoes are the result of an experimental process developed in collaboration with Paula Ulargui Escalona. The idea is that over time the pieces merge with nature. They took 20 days to reach the desired level of growth in a specially constructed polytunnel on the outskirts of Paris. They require regular watering and maintenance to ensure a runway-ready appearance.”

HyunA and DAWN were caught by i_D third row at the LOEWE Spring/Summer 2023 men's runway show, where their innovative plant and nature-based collection premiered. The couple never fail to share their trips via Instagram so we could step into their lives through our screens.

HyunA was introduced as one of LOEWE’s Global Brand Ambassadors in 2021 when she promoted the brand’s newly launched Goya bag that July. HyunA shared the sunny Parisian weather on her feed and also promoted the brand's logo-embroidered sweatpants as well as their cross-body bag.

Other guests who appeared at the show range from artists such as a household name in the electronic-house music scene Kaytranada, Swedish R&B and soul singer Snoh Aalegra, frontman of The 1975 Matty Healy, and many more.

CELINE S/S23

CELINE is another brand who garnered a large crowd during their Summer ‘23 show as big names V of BTS, Lisa of BLACKPINK, and actor Park Bogum reached the capital to attend their Spring/Summer 2023 show. The trio attended the show which presented the designs and creations of Hedi Slimane, whose idea for the looks stemmed from David Bowie: pure androgynous rock-chic.

The relationship between Lisa and Hedi Slimane dates way back from when Slimane worked at Saint Laurent and styled BLACKPINK on multiple occasions. He kept this relationship strong as he personally appointed Lisa as CELINE’s first-ever Global Ambassador back in September 2020 when joining the brand. Vogue even wrote an article on the pair and how well they match. Lisa shared gorgeous balcony photos to her Instagram with the caption in French translating to: “Paris was magical with Céline..! 💫”

Fans have marked this as a great start to BTS’s solo careers as V’s trip to Paris for the CELINE show signals the beginning of his individual ventures. V has always been one to show out with his outfits and has been especially known for his rock-chic outfits, being named as an inspiration to his juniors in the industry such as ENHYPEN’s Jay. V shared photos from the event the day after via his Instagram.

As soon as Park Bogum stepped out at the CELINE S/S23 show, all eyes were on him as he adorned an all-black suit, paired with a silver-glistening necklace and an earring to match. 

Post-show, Bogum turned to Twitter to share his appreciation for this trip and the opportunity to attend, especially after being discharged from the military in April.
