TRI.BE Bring the Sass in “KISS” Comeback

It has been a long time since fans of TRI.BE last heard from the girls, with their last comeback all the way back in October. Now they’re back and full of sass in their third single album LEVIOSA, with title track “KISS” and B-side “In The Air (777).” This comeback was also done as a group of six instead of seven due to member Jinha being on a hiatus due to health issues.

“KISS” is an intense title track, with lyrics that describe how someone makes you feel. The song brings back similar sounds heard in the group’s debut, particularly found in the pre-chorus with the synths and percussion. While there is that familiarity, it’s still a unique song compared to previous releases, introducing a more fast-paced tempo with a house-type genre. The middle of the song especially shines with Hyunbin and Soeun’s rap verses. It’s a fun and upbeat track that sticks to the group’s unique sound through use of percussive beats. B-side “In The Air (777)” is a more lighthearted song that is a nice follow-up to the title track.

TRI.BE worked with producers S.Tiger and EXID’s LE (who produces under the name ELLY), as well as THE HUB team who have produced for groups such as ITZY, NMIXX, and Weeekly

The music video showcases eccentric fashion, bright aesthetics, and playful choreography that shows off the girls’ sassy sides but doesn’t seem as intense as some of their previous choreographies. It’s a fun and aesthetically pleasing video to watch, keeping viewers hooked throughout the song!
