TAEMIN Shows his Rizz in 4th Mini Album Guilty
After his absolutely iconic release of “Advice.” TAEMIN is back and gave us a mini-album we will never forget. Guilty - The 4th Mini Album - EP is a six-song masterpiece. We all know how talented TAEMIN is, and when we found out he was releasing a mini-album after waiting two years, we were all very excited.
Guilty - The 4th Mini Album - EP Tracklist:
“Guilty”
“The Rizzness”
“She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not”
“Not Over You”
“Night Away”
“Blue”
Title Track: “Guilty”
WOW! It’s been a while since I’ve felt so passionate about a song. “You got me G-U-I-L-T-Y” is so addicting, and I love singing it. “Guilty” is the R&B/alternative track that we needed to end October. The title track, to me, is the true definition of TAEMIN’s music. It’s seductive, artistic, and passionate. The runs in this song make any listener want to levitate, and the vocals are siren-like.
The video is very artistic, with a deep storyline. When watching the video, I couldn’t stop focusing on TAEMIN’s dancing—I had to keep rewinding the video so I could take in everything. TAEMIN’s dancing is on another level, as usual. The choreography is smooth but hard-hitting. It’s a title track that holds a place in my heart.
Top Tier B-Sides
Honestly, I didn’t know how I was going to feel about “The Rizzness” just from the title alone, but let me tell you, this track is so addicting. The song has this intense drill beat that makes you dance along instantly. “You know I got the rizz, the rizzness” is what I’ve been singing all day. This is a new sound coming from TAEMIN. While he has had hard-hitting dance music, the drill beat is a new sound that I really love. He ate this one.
The next track, “She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not,” is so unabashedly mystical, and I love it. Also, just like “Guilty,” this song screams TAEMIN. By that, I mean his aesthetic, sound, and vibe are fully showcased in this track. The fact that this track gives off the emotions of actually pulling the petals off a flower, asking yourself, does she love me, does she love me not? We get the full picture of his questioning of if TAEMIN’s lover returns his feelings, and we get to feel the intensity. I can already tell this track is going to be a favorite amongst fans; it is definitely one of mine.
The next three tracks are all ballads, and I am living. “Not Over You” incorporates the R&B sound but has a blues smoothness as well. In the song, TAEMIN is hitting such mesmerizing notes, and many of us are obsessed. Personally, I love the chorus and how it makes you want to sway your hips or just lay back and listen with your headphones. The next track, “Night Away,” is such a vibe. I just want to ride in my car with my windows down and blast this song. “Night Away” is a mixture of pop and R&B, that could have been a summer banger. The last song on the mini-album is “Blue,” and it is a nice way to end the album. This is such a feel-good track that I can see it being sung at the end of a concert. Picture it, a packed stadium, fans cheering, lightsticks in the air swaying side to side as the music plays in the background. “Blue” is beautiful and will definitely bring a smile to your face while listening.
TAEMIN has done it once again and released an album that we will never forget. Each song on this mini-album could have served as a title track because of how captivating and iconic these tracks are. His music will always go down in history, and as fans, we are going to eat up any release he releases. Guilty - The 4th Mini Album - EP is amazing and has no skips. We are all super proud of him and are super excited to see what TAEMIN has planned for the future.
