“WATCH IT,” The Boyz are Back With New Release

They have done it once again, you guys. The Boyz are back and have dropped their album [PHANTASY] Pt. 2 Sixth Sense. The Boyz, an 11-member group, dropped their six-track album, and I have been jamming all day.

Tracklist:

  1. “WATCH IT”

  2. “Rat In The Trap”

  3. “Honey”

  4. “Bad Luck”

  5. “CRYING&LAUGHTER”

  6. “Escape”

Title Track: “WATCH IT”

Firstly, that cat is so adorable. I just had to put that out there. Now the song is really good. The beat was so groovy and made my shoulders move along. You can’t help but dance along to this song. It’s fun and upbeat. Everything about this track is smooth. The dance, the vocals, and the raps are just so effortless. The part where members Sunwoo, Q, and Jacob do this footwork was so smooth, I had to rewind it.

There’s this high note at the end of the song that will wow any listener. I literally lost my mind when they sang that high note. The end of the song is my favorite part. I always loved how hyped and put-together The Boyz endings are, and the ending is that. The video definitely showcased the members fully. There are scenes in the video that zoom into the members' faces, and it’s so cool. It’s a fun track that should be played on repeat.

B-sides

The five B-sides on this EP all stick to the overall theme of “WATCH IT.” The first B-side, “Rat In The Trap,” is personally one of my favorites, and that is because of the flat notes and the R&B undertones in the song. I am a sucker for songs that showcase more flat notes than sharp ones, so when I heard them in this song, I was hooked. The next track, “Honey,” is a pop track I can see playing at a party. There’s an addictive beat and a catchy chorus. The rap is, honestly, so cool.

The next track, “Bad Luck,” is another pop track that is groovy and a joy to dance to. I found myself dancing to it while listening to it. I couldn’t help it. “Bad Luck” is another favorite of mine. The rap is my favorite part of this song. It’s hard-hitting, and the way they ride the beat is *chef kiss*.

“CRYING&LAUGHTER” is the next song on the EP. The entrancing rap pulls in at the beginning, and you are hooked automatically. The chorus is so good, and this is another one you can’t help but sway to. I would love to see the choreography of this track. I just know it's incredible. The last song on the EP is “Escape,” and it’s honestly such a great way to end this jam-packed EP. “Escape” is just a vibe. As you drive in your car and relax, you definitely play this song. It’s upbeat and features a light drill beat that will make you move to the beat.

[PHANTASY] Pt. 2 Sixth Sense is a great EP and is fun to listen to. When I heard they were having a comeback, I was filled with joy. This is an EP that many will be playing on repeat, and we can’t wait to see what fantastic things they have planned for the future.
