While some parts of the U.S. are still covered in snow, as of March 21 spring has officially sprung in the Northern Hemisphere. Here in South Korea, things are really heating up. From warmer weather to the first bloom of cherry blossoms, spring is officially here and K-Pop comebacks are especially abundant. This week, let’s take a look at some hot B-side tracks that are worthy of all your springtime playlists.

“Tell Me” - FIFTY FIFTY

FIFTY FIFTY has taken social media by storm since their debut in November 2022. The four-member group recently released the viral hit single “Cupid,” which is steadily climbing the Global Spotify Chart. But don’t stop here—their B-side tracks are just as catchy!

Let FIFTY FIFTY spice up your springtime with the first track from their debut EP, “Tell Me.” It has a jazzy city-pop vibe with a cool rap and a dreamy melody. “LEFT RIGHT” - XG

If you’re searching for the next big thing, look no further than Japanese girl group XG. They debuted in March 2022 and just celebrated their one year anniversary. What makes the seven-member group from Xgalx stand out? They are all Japanese, promoting in Korea, and singing in English. Perhaps a new kind of triple threat?

“LEFT RIGHT” is the sole B-side from their latest release, SHOOTING STAR. The track is a nice blend of hip-hop and R&B with smooth vocals and strong rap sections. Don’t let the chill, mid-tempo feel fool you. One listen will have, “your body movin’ left, right,” along with the talented girls of XG.
