Best of November 2024

November has been another strong month of comebacks this year! From our favorite boy groups, our favorite girl groups, and our favorite solo artists from a group, there was so much to listen to. And with a few days left of November, there may be so much more still to come but here are some of my favorite B-sides from November so far.

“Selfish Waltz” - ATEEZ

ATEEZ brings an ethereal charm to their latest mini-album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2, with the magical and dreamy track “Selfish Waltz.” With light and almost whispered vocals in the verses against a sultry synth backtrack, “Selfish Waltz” emits a celestial vibe that casts a calming energy on the listener; it’s the perfect track to listen to in any nighttime setting. “Selfish Waltz” joins a list of other stellar, synth-infused ATEEZ tracks such as “Cyberpunk,” “Take Me Home,” and “Silver Light” becoming the next fan-favorite ATEEZ B-side for Atiny and beyond.

“Forty One Winks” - TOMORROW X TOGETHER

In their latest mini-album, The Star Chapter:SANCTUARY, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) deliver a smooth, sensual R&B sound in the fifth track, “Forty One Winks.” With effortless vocals and a charming, retro vibe, this track exudes an old-school R&B sound with ’90s boy bands immediately coming to mind whenever I listen to the song. This retro-R&B sound is a genre that perfectly suits the TXT members that I hope to hear more of in future releases.

“Came and Left Me” - MINHO

After several solo singles and one mini-album, MINHO has finally dropped his first full-length album CALL BACK, which may be his strongest solo release yet. Full of so many incredible songs, the fourth track “Came and Left Me” stands out as my favorite with its calm and elegant Latin vibe arrangement that places a guitar as the focus instrument behind MINHO’s solid vocals. Listening to “Came and Left Me,” I can imagine a music video that takes place on a beach or in some kind of vacation setting. This is a strong single from a strong first full-length album that showcases MINHO's versatility as an artist.

“Hypnotize” - VIVIZ

With each comeback VIVIZ get stronger and stronger, with their latest album being the next to showcase new sounds and strong vocals from the trio. From VOYAGE, the fourth track "Hypnotize" immediately became my favorite with its sensual yet chill and heavenly groove that, along with the members’ soft vocals, creates a dreamy, hypnotizing sound that perfectly matches the song's title.
