Korean Actors in K-Pop Music Videos

Four Korean actors that have appeared in music videos.

HAN SOHEE

For many, Jungkook’s “Seven” is the first of Han Sohee’s music video appearances to come to mind, but what many don’t know is that “Seven” is the fifth music video she has appeared in.

Always the main love interest, she was the lead actress in both Jung Yonghwa’s “That Girl” and SHINee’s “Tell Me What To Do.”

LEE JAEIN

Aside from D.O. himself being an actor, his music video “Somebody” features a K-Drama actor. This young actress, Lee Jaein, has found lead roles in Racket Boys, Night Has Come, and Concrete Market in recent years. D.O. assumes the role of a cameraman while Jaein takes her natural form as an actress on a set that D.O. is working on. This is the duo's first time working together, so naturally there was some awkwardness during filming, however they show a very tender connection in the music video.

CHOI WOOShIK

Choi Wooshik takes on the heartbreak and jealousy of watching an ex-lover move on in this two-part story told through DAY6’s “You Were Beautiful” and “Congratulations.”

LEE MINHO

Heartthrob Lee Minho starred in DARA’s 2010 release “KISS” off of her debut album. Lee Minho, as a wealthy playboy, kisses Dara on the cheek as a bet. Although not impressed, she later gives in and allows him to take her shopping in an attempt to win her over with his wealth. Kim Woobin appears as Minho’s friend at the end of the video, marking one of his first ever acting appearances.
