TEMPEST Takes You on a Nice «VOYAGE»

TEMPEST makes its comeback six months after the release of Into the TEMPEST and ends its journey with its fifth mini-album, TEMPEST Voyage. Released on March 11, this new opus of four titles marks the end of the “Storm” series. Like every adventure, there are sometimes unforeseen events: the group, initially composed of Lew (leader), Eunchan, Hanbin, Hyungseop, Taerae, and Hyuk must venture on while Hwarang is on hiatus due to injury. It’s an absence felt all the more since Hwarang participated with Hyuk and Taerae in the writing of the title song, “LIGHTHOUSE.” It is a pop song with a deep house rhythm which offers a romantic melody with a music video with an attractive visual.

To mark the release of their new album, a showcase was held at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul on the afternoon of the March 11. Unlike previous works, this album focuses on more mature tracks before launching into a new journey into a larger world. The crazy and powerful energy gives way to calm after the storm. The bad weather makes them grow and they have become stronger. They ask for the trust of their fans and like a lighthouse in the ocean, TEMPEST wants to shine its light and serve as a guide to iE from all walks of life, notably Vietnam, where Hanbin is from, but also Japan. Moreover, we can notice that on their official members channel, Hanbin's posts are also translated into Vietnamese, a detail very appreciated by the Vietnamese community. The  group is also preparing its Japanese debut with a mini-album which will be released in April. And, since the word “Voyage” is a French word, perhaps TEMPEST is planning to embark on another far-flung journey and visit Europe? Let’s hope so for our European friends!
