KISS OF LIFE’s “Midas Touch” is an Early 2000s Banger
KISS OF LIFE, also known as the Bratz of K-Pop are back with a release that sounds straight out of the early 2000s. KISS OF LIFE is a four-member girl group under S2 Entertainment. These girls give us the R&B and pop mixture that we need. Their vocals, visuals, and dance skills are stunning; this release shows exactly that. Midas Touch has two songs.
Midas Touch Tracklist:
“Midas Touch”
“Nothing”
If Britney Spears, Disney Channel, and Bratz came together to make a track, we would get “Midas Touch.” This upbeat song is so much fun to listen to. Hearing this song will make you want to jump up and dance. “Midas Touch” includes raps, belts, and runs that send a chill down your spine. This track is just in time for the summertime. The electric piano creates the sound heard in many songs released in the early 2000s. Everything about this track will get stuck in your head. The chorus is addictive, and so is the animated choreography. Their facial expressions, hand movements, and connection to the lyrics create a dance many will want to learn.
Just like their past releases, this video has a storyline. In the video, we see the girls have powers. With a single touch, they can turn people into stone. They also are seen around a lot of gold, and with another touch, the stone will melt away and they will be human again. It’s a beautiful video with bright colors and breathtaking sets.
The next track is called “Nobody.” This track is in English and is an uplifting track about self-worth. In the song, we hear the members talking about how they realized that person wasn’t worth the time. It’s a groovy breakup song that is a perfect finish to the single release.
Midas Touch is a fun release that many are going to enjoy. KISS OF LIFE is on a roll with their comebacks and makes you excited for the many things they have planned for the future.
