K-hip-hop artist BIG Naughty and NCT’s Mark have joined forces for a surprise summer digital single. The “Vancouver” rapper and the Vancouver rapper released “Sunkissed (Feat. MARK of NCT)” on June 26. The song comes less than two days after first being teased. 

With a beat composed and arranged by GIRIBOY, this laidback track is one for poolside listening. BIG Naughty and Mark contributed lyric-writing. The lyrics draw upon the carefree yet short-lived nature of summer vacation. 

They describe making the most of summer while it goes on, and to forget life’s stressors just for a moment. “Whenever summer came and went / I suddenly feel wronged, why is living my best a crime?” BIG Naughty questions. This sunny period brings the best memories but also passes in the blink of an eye.

“I’ll go out, but no sulking / It’s not spring, autumn, or winter,” they lyrics say, highlighting that summer’s qualities make it easy for people to share a moment of bliss. BIG Naughty and Mark’s soft voices help create that relaxed environment. 

Though the track came without a music video, the two rappers filmed videos on TikTok. You can find “Sunkissed (Feat. MARK of NCT)” on streaming platforms now.
