Since 2012, we have been getting banger after banger from iconic SM Entertainment boy group EXO. Their powerful vocals, striking raps, and captivating dancing create songs you will never forget. Between their many title tracks and B-sides, you are bound to have a long list of top-tier tracks as an EXO-L. They have so many I had to split this into two parts. Today, we are going to talk about some B-sides that are legendary. 

“The Eve” - THE WAR - The 4th Album

There’s no way we can talk about EXO’s iconic B-sides and not include this one. “The Eve” is the first song you hear when you press play on THE WAR - The 4th Album. This R&B track is sensual and is a song everyone knows word for word. The dance practice video to this track shocked EXO-Ls around the world. The way the steps were in sync, and hit every beat is satisfying to watch. The vocal skills of EXO are out of this world, and in this track, we get to hear smooth high notes and captivating ad-libs. “The Eve” is addictive and even now in 2024, you can’t help but sing along.

“Been Through” - Universe - Winter Special Album, 2017

This beautiful ballad is the third song from their album, Universe - Winter Special Album, 2017. “Been Through” is a masterpiece that tugs at your heart. If I had to recommend an EXO song, this would definitely be one of them. “You shine like the stars. You light up my heart” is a beautiful line that captures the feeling of love. The vocals are entrancing and will lock you in from the first listen. The bridge of this song is just so good. The way the members go from angelic vocals to angelic rapping will always be groundbreaking. It’s a majestic song.

“Artificial Love” - EX’ACT - The 3rd Album

Have you ever heard a song that makes you want to stop what you are doing and bust a move? That’s actually how I feel and many EXO-Ls when they hear “Artificial Love” will probably agree. Their album, EX’ACT - The 3rd Album is jam-packed, and this track will keep your energy level up. Every EXO-L knows this song and for good reason. The vocals are powerful, and the rap lines are impressive. The track is groovy, and you will be ready to dance from the first beat.

“Ooh La La La” - DON’T MESS UP MY TEMPO - The 5th Album

Are you looking for a song that is laid back, groovy, and has strong R&B vocals? “Ooh La La La” is the song for you. This slow jam incorporates the R&B characteristics and has a beat you want to sway your hips to. The kings of ad-libs did their big one on this song. The ad-libs are intricate, and the way they harmonize with one another is ethereal. DON’T MESS UP MY TEMPO -The 5th Album was a highly anticipated album, and once released, people were talking about this song. “Ooh La La La” is upbeat and mighty, and shows the talent that EXO possesses.
