Iconic ATEEZ B-Sides Part 2

In November of 2023, I talked about a few B-sides by ATEEZ that are iconic. Since then, ATEEZ has dropped a full album, two Korean EPs, two Japanese EPs, and a recent single. Now that we are here for part two, we have a lot of songs to talk about. With the world tour starting this month, there are so many tracks we are excited to see, and today we are going to talk about some tracks that are as iconic as ATEEZ is.

“Blind” - GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 1 - EP

On May 31, 2024, ATEEZ’s addictive, hype EP, GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 1, released. If you don’t jump up and dance instantly while listening to “Blind,” you aren’t listening right. With a Latin inspiration going throughout the mini-album, we hear that same Latin feel on this one. “Blind” is the perfect mixture of ATEEZ’s striking beats and the new sound they are going for. The lyrics are addictive. “Take my soul, take my heart. El amor es ciego” will get stuck in your head from the first listen. The ending is true to ATEEZ’s sound. It’s a fun party ending that will have you jumping up and down. I would love to hear this on tour. I can only imagine the bass in the arena.

“ARRIBA” - THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL

We all saw Coachella right? And that “ARRIBA” performance? If you haven’t, I recommend you go and watch it. The plot, the vocals, the dancers, the raps, and the live band create such an unforgettable performance. On December 1, 2023, ATEEZ dropped their full-length album, THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL and some of my favorite B-sides reside on that album—one of them being “ARRIBA.” Being the party anthem it is, this song is perfect for when it’s time to celebrate. Incorporating that Latin sound once again makes for a song you want to dance to. This track live is something I wish for all ATINYs to see live.

“Take Me Home” & “Take Me Home (English Version)” - ZERO: FEVER, Pt. 2

“Somebody take me home. I don’t wanna be alone anymore, every night. That place of my dreams.” This song is so beautiful that there are four different versions of it. Today, we are only going to talk about the Korean and English versions. On March 1, 2021, ATEEZ dropped their fiery album, ZERO: FEVER, Pt.2. On that album, we were introduced to the masterpieces that are “Take Me Home” and “Take Me Home (English Version).” The members’ vocals are insane in this song. No matter if you listen to the Korean or English version, you are transported to a magical oasis. To end this song, there is a chest-gripping solo by a saxophonist that makes you feel like you are levitating.

“Promise” - TREASURE EP.2: Zero To One

I couldn’t make this list and not take it back to the beginning. On January 16, 2019, ATEEZ made their first comeback and dropped their hit-for-hit mini-album, TREASURE EP.2: Zero To One. When I say this next song is a masterpiece word for word, bar for bar, I mean it. “Promise” is a track that resonates with you from the first listen. The vocals are powerful, and the rap is striking but still has a happy pop sound to it. I can’t help but sing along when this song plays. ATEEZ did a great job making a song that makes you scream along to the lyrics, but still feel an overwhelming amount of emotion. It’s a great song, and going back to listen to it only makes you happy when you see the progression ATEEZ has made.
