URBAN RIDE

Urban Ride is the group’s first EP since their November 30, 2023 release, HIP. As of 24 hours after its release, the album has peaked at No. 4 on the US iTunes K-Pop Album Chart. In South Korea, the EP debuted at No. 9 on the Bugs Music Chart, where they now sit at No. 6, the highest the boy group has ever charted on the Bugs Music Chart.

The album opens with “Star,” a song with a laid-back vibe dedicated to their fans who shine brightly beside them.

The title track “Flirting X” has a soft rock vibe that ties in with the rock band scenes in the music video. The song was co-written and composed by leader E-Chan and falls a little short of three minutes in length.

The EPs third track, “Taekwondo,” opens with an attention-grabbing beat and features an array of adlibs that compliment the member’s raps.

Urban Ride wraps up with “Traveler” co-written by GK and “Let’s Dance” written by eldest members E-Chan, GK, and D1. The EP finishes off with an energetic vibe, leaving fans uplifted and moving.

2023 was a good year for the group with their EPs I Need Love, We Love You, and HIP reaching a total of over 135,000 cumulative sales. Their day one sales for Urban Ride totaled 19,787 and day two came out to be 17,874 sales. This is the second-highest day one sales the group has seen, being 5,748 sales under their EP HIP.

On August 3, DKB will embark on an 18-city tour, 2024 DKB World Tour [Dark Strange] , the group’s first world tour.
