KISS OF LIFE’s New Release, “Sticky” Is Right On Time For The Summertime

After their hit release of “Midas Touch,” the BRATZ of K-Pop are back with a summer banger. KISS OF LIFE has been on a roll with the release of their music, with each song being a hit. Their recent release, “Sticky, is perfect for the summer. This single release has two songs that captivate that summertime aura.

Sticky - Single

  1. “Sticky” (Title Track)

  2. “Te Quiero”

KISS OF LIFE is known for its early 2000s style in music, and in this release, they mixed that and the recent trends. “Sticky” is an upbeat dance track. With it being the summertime, many groups have dropped bangers to add to our summer playlists, and KISS OF LIFE has done exactly that. This song is addictive and will get stuck in your head just from the first listen. “How long before we fall in love,” has been in my head all day. “Sticky” is meant to be played at a party or while you're on a trip to the beach. Something that stood out to me besides the striking choreography is the vocals. The vocals are soothing and make you want to sing along. The way they sing in this song isn’t strong or carries heavy emotion. It’s relaxing and calm. If you aren’t dancing, you’re definitely laying back, getting a tan while this plays.

The video looks like it was so much fun to film. The one-take concept that the video has was honestly so cool to watch. We see the members getting into position to dance, have solo shots, and have fun. There’s one part of the video when the members and the dancers get into a fountain. There is a splash that causes water to get on the camera. It added a cool visual effect to the camera that solidified the fun, beachy concept they have for the video. There is one part that made me audibly gasp and that is at the end when we got to see the “Sugarcoat” version of member Natty. It’s nice to see the storylines coming together at the end because it gives fans a sense of continuation.

The second song, “Te Quiero,” is a fully English track that screams the early 2000s. In the song, they talk about the love they have for their partner. With lyrics like, “I don’t wanna lose you. My love has always been true,” and “You got me so in love. I’ve never been this possessive,” you can feel the love and admiration they have for this person. It’s a fun song with a Latin inspiration to it that many will love.

So, go and check out Sticky, and have the time of your life with this summer banger.
