Tell Your Momma About This KARD New Release

After a jam-packed year, KARD is back with a summer release. If you are looking for the perfect music to play while taking that last summer trip before the break ends, this is the mini-album for you. Where To Now? (Pt. 1: Yellow Light) has seven songs that are perfect for any event.

Where To Now? (Pt. 1: Yellow Light) Tracklist:

  1. “Waste My Time”

  2. “Tell My Momma” (Title Track)

  3. “Boombox”

  4. “SHIMMY SHIMMY”

  5. “SPIN”

  6. “Tell My Momma (Instrumental)”

  7. “Boombox (Instrumental)”

The title track, “Tell My Momma” is one you would want to tell your own momma about. The track is laid-back and one to play while taking a long drive to the beach. KARD is a groovy group and all of their music just tickles the right part of the brain. In this song, the members talk about how in love they are. They feel nothing but admiration for this person, so much so that they want to tell their mother about them. The song incorporates a bass line that is on the calmer side. It’s a beat you can dance to, lay back and relax. The lyrics are mostly in English with a sprinkle of Korean in there. It’s an upbeat love song that is bound to get stuck in your head.

The music video is aesthetically pleasing. The members are seen in a beautiful set. You can see a garden, and the building has an ancient European style. The paintings in the background are beautiful and add to the rich concept they have. In the video, you can see the members stricken with love. For example, member BM is seen throwing rocks at the window of the person he loves. The scenes correlate with the lyrics and it creates a beautiful video.

I recommend that everyone check out Where To Now? (Pt. 1: Yellow Light). The mini-album is packed with songs for any occasion. Personally, I have been listening to “Boombox” on repeat. So, go and listen to the mini-album and tell us which song is your favorite.
