OCTOBER

Xdinary Heroes falls through the air in “Night before the end.” The members transform into tiger moths, burning up as they fall.

82MAJOR takes on the persona of undercover spies in “Stuck” where they expose bald men in an outlandish manner. The video has a distinct feel with its color palette and plot resembling comedic second generation K-Pop music videos. 

Jaehyun, with his blonde hair slicked back in a headband is an irresistible sight. Jaehyun’s single “Unconditional” is addictive from just the song alone, but the video also deserves some hype of its own. One of the best elements is how the other actors lip-sync some of the lyrics, including the talking chicken. The subtle sound effects that go with the on-screen motion tie everything together, especially during transitions between scenes.

STAYC travels through portals in search of love in “GPT.” They all experienced an unrequited love and try to get their love to fall for them.  

October ended strong with the return of the king. After a seven-year hiatus, G-DRAGON released the single “POWER.” It feels as though he effortlessly stepped back into his idol persona with this flashy music video. 

NOVEMBER

Sungjin plays a director in the video “Check Pattern” where people reenact their memories. 

ENHYPEN take on the role of office workers in their music video “No Doubt.” As the office heats up, the members struggle to find ways to keep cool. As the heat rises, so does the tension. While the office setting makes it seem like it would be impossible for them to tie in their vampire concept, they still find a workaround. 

Yves’s “Viola” is possibly one of the most interesting music videos in K-Pop. It’s very experimental and utilizes a lot of unconventional methods with its stop-motion and screens. 

Amid the end of the world, Jin spends his last day on a carefree adventure with his best friend, a dog. The two explore the abandoned city together in “Running Wild” as the world crumbles around them. 

ATEEZ take over a mansion before lighting it on fire in “Ice On My Teeth.” The video is elegant with its Renaissance art, giant chandelier, ballerinas, grand piano, and bedazzled chess pieces. 

DECEMBER

“Last Kiss” by The Boyz features clips from their debut until now. In celebration of their seventh anniversary, this video not only marks a new chapter for the group but also serves as a reminder of all of the wonderful memories they’ve made together along the way.

TWICE and Megan Thee Stallion have a “Strategy” to pull you in, and that is not only a fun pop song together, but also a cute music video. 

YOUNITE’s camcorder footage video “TASTE” is done in a unique style that’s on the rise in the music video industry.

This collaboration between the artists of ONE HUNDRED sounds like a sweet and unassuming Christmas track. However, upon watching the video, you’ll see that “The Last Christmas” means the final Christmas before the end of the world. As the world breaks out in mass hysteria, the artists of ONE HUNDRED remain calm and enjoy their last Christmas before the asteroid hits. 

Onew released “만세 (Yay)” in preparation for his fourth mini-album CONNECTION. The video is peculiar and orange with Onew in a carpeted orange room that has various carpeted tunnels connected to it.
