Being a globally successful idol and podcast host is not enough for the breakout soloist who wants to show her diversity to the world. A.I Troppers, are you ready for AleXa’s official acting debut?

The female idol was confirmed to make her acting debut in the new season of Netflix’s Goedam. AleXa will be joining a cast filled with other well-recognized idols and performers like MONSTA X’s Shownu, BTOB’s Minhyuk, Oh My Girl’s Arin, The Boyz’s Ju Haknyeon, Golden Child’s Jaehyun, Lovelyz’s Seo Jisoo, WJSN’s Seola and Exy, and Lee Howon (Hoya). This means that AleXa will be able to showcase her versatile talents in a unique Korean horror series alongside a star-studded cast.

Netflix’s horror anthology follows urban legends after the night and its shadows and spirits take over the city. The first season premiered last August and topped Netflix’s charts in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Japan, making the second season highly anticipated across countries.

The filming of Goedam‘s new season will start in the spring of 2021.
