The unapologetically flourishing charm of the genre entails artists’ unique stylistic characteristics and in turn, ignites music lovers’ irreversible obsession with the distinct genre.
So take this chance to witness the very special stages presented by the GROOVL1N crew brought to you by Studio PAV!
The hip-hop label, founded in 2019, embodies the combination of the words “GROOVE” and “GOBLIN” in its name. Although a fairly younger label in the Korean music industry, GROOVL1N is steadily growing with the recruitment of incredible talents and outlook for the newest brilliant additions.
Ravi is a renowned artist who first debuted in the music scene as third-generation idol group VIXX’s rapper. Continuously creating music as with the recent release of his second LP LOVE & FIGHT, Ravi establishes himself as an iconic presence with his simultaneously active performance in the variety show realm of the entertainment world. Now taking his role in the music industry a step further, the artist stands as a leading figure of his hip-hop label GROOVL1N and vocal label The L1VE, providing a safe space for his affiliated artists Ailee and Wheein to freely pursue their creative endeavors.
Recognized for his appearance on Mnet’s rap survival show series Show Me the Money 777 (SMTM), SMTM 777’s first-place winner nafla is GROOVL1N’s newest recruitment. nafla is up and ready to hype up the crowd with his unparalleled skills that prominently show up, especially in his tracks “mobb tang” and “run!,” as he encapsulates an immense combination of energy and confidence more than enough to immerse the audience into his rap.
R&B artists Cold Bay and Xydo complete the lineup of the GROOVL1N U.S. tour. Concurrently revealed by GROOVL1N, the two artists possess irreplaceable stylistic vocal tones that are yet to be widely recognized by fans and music lovers alike. Participating in the collaborative diss track “KILLITKOMORI” with Feelda and WOOZOO from Korea and Yonsei University’s seasonal hip-hop competition, Cold Bay started gaining popularity that set a foundation for his increasingly active involvement in the music scene. Not only partaking as a feature in a lot of Ravi’s works alongside other artists’ works, but Cold Bay also appeared on Show Me the Money Season 9 and is continuing to create music; his most recent release “LIP (Love Is Poison)” is an exemplary work to showcase his charming vocals.
“Paradigm” is representative of Xydo’s smooth voice that flawlessly integrates into the relaxing mood of the track. A prominent vocalist of the crew VALUE PER HOUR (previous name: POISON HOLYC), Xydo grew his presence in the music scene by steadily contributing as a featured artist in numerous tracks and honing in on his musical abilities through production and cover songs. His most recent release “I (Feat. Minseo)” is a drastic contrast with his song “Betting” featured by pH-1; taking a listen from track to track will definitely draw you into the stylistic versatility of Xydo’s vocals.
