Ailee is a “Room Shaker” in New MV
Ailee has made her long-awaited comeback after three years! Her second studio album butterFLY is filled with various tracks along with some surprising special guests that keep fans wanting more. Ailee always comes back stronger than ever with her amazing vocal skills and butterFLY is no exception.
The title track “Room Shaker” is an urban hip-hop track with an extremely catchy beat that expresses the happiness and energy from spending time with that special someone. Through this track, Ailee is able to showcase her rapping skills to continue to impress her fans. The music video takes place in a club-like scene in which Ailee is able to show her charisma and confidence as well as her sharp dance moves.
“Midnight” is an electronic pop track that mainly focuses on the singer’s incredible vocals. The track expresses the feelings of spending the night with the person you love. “Want It” immediately gives off seductive vibes in which her voice goes from high to low throughout the track. The track is about being bold about expressing your feelings and wanting love. “Headlock” has a catchy beat of clapping hands which gives off musical vibes to instantly get you dancing along with her.
The album continues with a sweet collaboration with EXO’s Chen, “LOVE,” which is a cute song about loving everything about that special someone. “Nothing At All” is an upbeat piano track that would be perfect as an OST for a romantic drama that also encompasses the sad and empty feelings of going through a breakup. “그대는 그대라 소중해 (You are Precious Because of Who You Are)” is a soft pop track that is sure to give listeners a boost in confidence with Ailee’s inspirational lyrics.
“Fire” is the perfect track to show off Ailee’s beautiful yet soothing voice; the song starts off slowly then progresses to an upbeat electronic track. “Ain’t That Pretty” is a standout track of the album; with its upbeat tone and acoustic guitar, the song gives off Western music vibes. The album comes to an end with the English track “Heartcrusher” featuring Undaunted and DJ Koo. The track ends the album perfectly on an upbeat, dance mood to keep fans wanting more from her.
Ailee has finally come back with her new album with ten tracks to make sure that there is a song for everyone. This album is personally my favorite release of hers, and I’m in love with all of the tracks. She always seems to impress her fans with all of her unique musical talents.
