AKMU Says You are my “Happening” in Newest MV

AKMU has returned with their latest single “HAPPENING,” a mid-tempo track that has the sad message of the feelings associated with breaking up with someone. The track was written and composed by Lee Chanhyuk and Millennium and Sihwang took part in the composition as well. The song is quite unique as Chanhyuk and Suhyun are seen alternating their voices to create the perfect melody. The single is known as the prelude to the story from their third mini-album, Sailing, which was released about a year ago. 

The music video initially shows Chanhyuk walking on a moving train with no emotions from the hurt feelings he was experiencing. He is then seen running around and searching for his love that left him. During Suhyun’s scenes, she is seen walking around lost and emotionless. The track becomes more upbeat and the duo is seen more excited, finding some hope in life without their significant others.
