Throwback Thursday: Heavenly Tunes

Sometimes being a K-Pop fan can have you feeling #blessed. Between saintlike adoration for fans and vocals that sounds like they’re coming straight from the gates of Heaven,  The Kraze is here to provide you with some of K-Pop’s most heavenly tracks.

“Heaven” - EXO

Few things are more divine than EXO’s vocals, so it’s only fitting they released the aptly titled “Heaven” on 2016’s EX’ACT. Whether it’s your first listen or your hundredth, Chen’s opening “Hello angel” line is sure to have you feel like you’re ascending.

“Angel” - TEEN TOP

This oldie but goodie from 2011 comes from TEEN TOP’s single album Transform. The song is an ode to the group’s fans—also known as “Angels”—wherein the boys sing their thanks to those who have supported them in their careers. With easy vocals and relaxed guitar, “Angel” will make you feel like you have your own guardian angels in the form of TEEN TOP.

“Heaven” - Ailee

This 2012 take from Ailee comes from the songstress’s debut mini-album Invitation. Though “Heaven” was her debut song, the then fresh-faced Ailee had just as much power behind her performance as she does now as one of Korea’s most talented vocalists. Ailee shines throughout the entire song, but her held note towards the end of the song is simply angelic.
