Throwback Thursday: Dancing Through the New Year

With the beginning of 2022 just around the corner, let’s take a look at songs that are irresistible to dance along with and perfect to celebrate the end of the year. 

2PM - “GO CRAZY!”

2PM is not afraid to show you how to get loose with their party song “GO CRAZY!” The tune immediately hits the ground running with its disco-inspired sound and continues the cheery style throughout. The choreography is equally energetic and quite quirky, particularly at the chorus where the members pretend that they are revving and riding on motorcycles, making it quite memorable. “GO CRAZY!” will have you dancing along in no time. 

TWICE - “Dance The Night Away”

TWICE’s “Dance The Night Away” is a bubblegum pop song with EDM influence that will give the listener a carefree and fun feeling with every listen. The chorus is particularly catchy with the brassy sound and joyful lyrics. Although it was released as a summer song, “Dance The Night Away” is such a happy song, it is perfect to melt away your troubles while greeting the New Year. 

BIGBANG - “FANTASTIC BABY”

No K-Pop party, or even karaoke, is complete without mentioning “FANTASTIC BABY” by BIGBANG. The first line draws you in for a thrill. “FANTASTIC BABY” is flashy both musically and visually, and leads you into an iconic drop, where the real fun truly begins at the chorus and includes the famous line, “Wow, Fantastic Baby.” The members are all dressed in various pops of color with wild hairstyles, really adding to the flashiness of the song. “FANTASTIC BABY” is a high-energy song from beginning to end, making it such a fun and iconic K-Pop song.

2NE1- “I AM THE BEST”

2NE1 brings the ultimate boost to end the year with their song “I AM THE BEST.”  It is a powerful and upbeat song from beginning to end. The members' cool and confident attitudes throughout the video are addicting and will have anyone feel like they are total baddies. “I AM THE BEST” will give you that extra push to take any challenge this New Year may bring.
