Six Exciting Dramas to Watch in April

March's K-Dramas were riddled with real-life scandals. Between bullying accusations and issues with proper historical context, fans have growing concerns about the future of the shows they enjoy. Thankfully, April's dramas seem to be ready to bring back the excitement you feel when watching something unique.

Taxi Driver

When a person has been wronged, and the police can't or won't help, who will you call? Kim Doki (Lee Jehoon), that's who. He's a mysterious taxi driver with a dark past, ready to take revenge for people who cannot get justice the legal way. Go Eun (Pyo Yejin) is a computer genius that lends her services to Doki when he needs them. They, along with other members of the taxi service, go after gangsters and crooked cops. Prosecutor Kang Hana (Esom) knows there is more than meets the eye on her recent cases, so she sets out to find more information on the taxi service.

Taxi Driver started on April 9 and is available to watch on Kocowa.

Law School

Professor Yang Jonghoon (Kim Myunmin) is a harsh teacher whose law students dislike him. His primary interest in teaching is to prepare his students for life as a lawyer. His only friend is civil law professor Kim Eunsook (Lee Jungeun). During the school year, a strange incident occurs and throws Jonghoon's class into chaos.  

First-year students Kang Sol (Ryu Hyeyoung) and Han Joonhwi (Kim Beom) want to prove they belong in the class when the incident happens. Now they will get a first-hand experience of what it takes to win in a courtroom.

Law School begins April 14 and will be available to watch on Netflix

Sell Your Haunted House

Things that go bump in the night don't scare Hong Jinah (Jang Nara)— in fact, she prefers them. She is the owner of Daebak Real Estate, a company that sells haunted houses, and is also an exorcist that uses her talents to cleanse ghosts and evil spirits' homes before selling them. 

Con-artist Oh Inbeom (Jung Yonghwa) meets Jinah and decides to use his talents to work with her and help her solve her mother's murder. Inbeom doesn't believe in ghosts, but after working with Jinah, he begins to think there is more going on than meets the eye.

Sell Your Haunted House starts on April 14 and is available on Kocowa.

Undercover

How far would you go to find out the truth about a loved one? Choi Yeonsoo (Kim Hyunjoo) works as a civil rights lawyer and is married to Han Junghyun (Jin Jinhee). Yeonsoo gets promoted to chief of the Civil Servant Corruption Investigation Unit. As she begins her new job, she begins to find out her husband isn't who he says he is. 

Junghyun is a NIS agent working undercover. He fell in love with Yeonsoo and married her while keeping his real identity a secret. Will Yeonsoo uncover everything he worked so hard to keep secret? Undercover begins on April 23. 

Dark Hole

Horror and zombie lovers, get ready for this one! Dark Hole is about a group of survivors living in a world where people are turned into mutants after breathing in mysterious smoke from a sinkhole. These mutants will destroy anyone they see, so survivors must fight for their lives. Lee Hwasun (Kim Okbin) is a police officer who receives a phone call from her husband's murderer, telling her to come to the town of Mujishi, where the sinkhole with the toxic smoke is located. While there, Hwasun runs into Yoo Taehan (Lee Joonhyuk). Together they set out to solve the mystery of the smoke and why Hwasun's husband’s murderer called her. 

Dark Hole starts on April 24 and will be available on Viki

Nobleman Ryu’s Wedding

This eight-episode web series takes place during the Joseon Dynasty. Ryu Hoseon (Kang Insoo) and Choi Hwajin get married, but during wedding night activities, Hoseon discovers that the person he married was Hwajin's brother, Choi Kiwan (Lee Sejin). Hoseon tries to undo the wedding, but his mother refuses. While the duo figures out how to keep Kiwan's true identity a secret, Hoseon's school friend Kim Taehyung (Jang Euisoo) begins to fall in love with him. Will Hoseon and Kiwan be able to straighten everything out without embarrassing their families?

Nobleman Ryu's Wedding will begin on April 14.
