A.C.E Falls in Love in 9:16 with New Release

A.C.E is back with another collaboration, bringing us breezy love with GRAMMY-nominated American electronic music duo Grey—who previously worked with artists like Zedd and Camila Cabello. “Down” is a full English track that fits late spring perfectly just as they hinted in a recent interview we had with them. This easy EDM-infused pop song feels exactly like the weather—slowly getting warmer, preparing for a summer of love.

“Down” was released in three versions. One is the actual collaboration between A.C.E and Grey, one is with just A.C.E members' vocals, and we also got a soothing instrumental track. Due to his recently announced hiatus, Wow didn’t appear in the music video, but you can still enjoy his rap on the tracks.

Just as in the teasers, the actual music video is also completely in a 9:16 ratio, the standard format for Instagram Stories and TikTok. This gives a refreshing, familiar modernity to the vintage vibes and soft colors of the music video. The fun editing, vibrant effects, and stickers make the music video just as feel-good and happy as the track itself. And, of course, it’s A.C.E so you can expect some iconic fashion moments—yes, Byeongkwan brought us another crop top look and we aren’t complaining.

“Down” is the second “A.C.E Project” release following the collaboration with Steve Aoki and Thutmose for “Fav Boyz,” a remix for “Favorite Boys.” We can’t wait to see what the next project will be, but until then, go and check out the “Down” music video below!
