NIve Drops Some Wisdom in Interview with Racquel Goldy

Fresh off the newest release of his first EP, NIve has been making the rounds talking to different outlets about himself, his music, and his career. In his interview with our friend Racquel Goldy, the songwriter opened up about some deeper topics and had some words of wisdom we thought were worth sharing for some inspiration.

“Cliché is cliché for a reason. Do your thing. Just know yourself first and know what you want to do first because it's very easy to get lost if you look at people who are doing better than you at that time.”

“For [those] doing better than you, most have had the past [you do now], similar struggles.”

“Just go for it, don’t think too much. By just doing it, you are definitely growing.”

“Trust in the process and outcome, stay grounded.”

“Maybe I wanted perfection when imperfection is inevitable. It’s very simple yet it’s very hard to embrace, and I try to embrace my insecurities.”

“People ask me ‘oh NIve, you write songs that heal people, when did you start thinking of writing songs [like that?]’ And I tell them I wrote songs to save myself.”

“I’m hoping to grow connections that lead people to think they’re not alone.”

“Music is the greatest tool that delivers a message.”
