October Comebacks You May Have Missed

October has been chock full of comebacks all across the board, so make sure you don’t miss out on some of these comebacks outside the K-Pop space!

GEMINI & Mirani - “Rollin’” (prod. GroovyRoom)

Just the names listed on this song let you know it’s going to be good. GroovyRoom never misses with their productions, and the combination of GEMINI and Mirani delivers us the best of our K-R&B dreams. With GEMINI’s smooth vocals and Mirani’s smooth rap verse, you’re guaranteed to fall in love with this single at first listen.

TRADE L - “Not Swayed” (feat. Paul Kim)

HIGHR Music’s young rapper TRADE L is back with a track fit for the fall season. This isn’t a rap track, but a smooth R&B-influenced melody that seamlessly blends the vocal flavors of TRADE L and vocalist Paul Kim. It’s a sweet and soothing acoustic track that elicits a feeling of nostalgia, warming the heart as the temperatures drop outside. We get to see a new side of artistry to the young rapper with this single.

JeA (Brown Eyed Girls) - “While you’re sleeping”

We love second generation queens thriving. JeA delivers a stunning simple ballad highlighting her gorgeous vocals in single “While you’re sleeping.” The song features more of a holiday feel, with the use of jingle bells, strings, and simple percussion instruments. The intensity of the piano melody accompanying her voice builds up like a bolero into the second chorus, which is guaranteed to elicit goosebumps with how gorgeous it is. JeA certainly flaunts her vocal talents in this track, and with an exceptional melody backing her up, this track is truly exceptional despite its simplicity.

Roy Kim - “Take Me Back In Time”

This is a pre-release single for Roy Kim’s full album release later this month. This simple ballad is the type of track only an extremely strong vocalist can tackle, so it’s safe to say Roy Kim is a perfect fit for it. Ballads are perfect for the fall season, so if you’re feeling that type of sound, you’ll love this track. It’s a K-Drama OST-worthy track for certain, and a great preview for the upcoming album release.
