Universe: The Global App for Fans
As a K-Pop fan, there’s so many different apps you get introduced to such as V LIVE, Weverse, Mwave, and more. The one app that is especially fun for fans is Universe. The Universe app has lots of special content from groups such as ATEEZ, IVE, The Boyz, Kep1er, MONSTA X, and a bunch more! Here is a guide on Universe and some of the fun features!
Artist Updates
With the amount of groups Universe has content for, it’s a great app to get updates! Artists can use Universe to post their selfies as well as any updates about upcoming schedules. Sometimes they post exclusively on Universe rather than Twitter or Instagram. It can be fun to get these posts and see what the artists are up to!
Photo & Video Content
Universe also has exclusive video content with mini-series exclusive to subscribers. The most recent example of an ongoing series is ATEEZ’s “Curse of the Money Hole.” These fun little mini-series can be entertaining for fans and provide new and different content than what you would normally find on an artist’s YouTube channel. Usually in these videos, artists play different games and do activities that are fun to watch. These videos only require the most basic Universe subscription. Universe also does exclusive photoshoots with artists that aren’t available anywhere else. These photoshoots are always exciting to see and also only require the basic membership to access.
Private Message
The most exciting feature on Universe is private messaging! Based on the subscription users purchase, fans can get private messages from members of groups. The private message allows artists to connect with fans and update them on their day, send selfies they don’t post anywhere else, talk about schedules, and more! It’s a more personal way to connect with artists, especially your favorite members of a group. The private message feature is strictly for subscribers to Universe.
Universe provides different kinds of membership packages that allow for a certain amount of “private tickets” that get you access to the message feature. The largest amount of private tickets users can purchase is 70. You can also respond to the artist in this feature as if you’re texting them, making it feel more like a personal connection with members!
